I have looked a long time for a SMALL filtration unit that will fit under my kitchen sink that attaches directly to the waterline and does not require the install of an additional little water faucet. This one works perfectly !!It came with EVERYTHING needed to install, including written instructions with pictures and plumber's tape. It was more difficult to determine where under my sink to install it, than it actually was to install. The considerations you have on installation is that the unit hangs from a bracket that hooks on to the top of the filter. To replace the filter, you need to swing the base slightly towards you and turn it and pull hard to separate the filter casing from the top. I didn't want to permanently install it until I knew how it worked, so I just left my unit sit upright in the cabinet resting against the drainpipes. This seems to work just fine. It doesn't move or vibrate when I turn on the water. The flow lines provided are long enough that I can pull the whole thing out of cabinet to change the filter. I may install the bracket at some later time.The other thing I was VERY concerned about was the water flow/pressure after the filter was installed. I am EXTREMELY happy with this. I do not notice any discernible change in the cold water pressure with the filter installed.I live on the Gulf Coast of Florida and our water is very hard and has a chlorine taste. In my opinion, it is totally undrinkable, so we have been spending a fortune on bottled water. My husband alone drinks about 5 bottles a day, so not only are we creating a huge amount of plastic waste, we have a pretty large water expense. I am VERY pleased with the taste of the water now that I have installed the filter. It is even better than bottled water ! I especially like that the filter for this unit lasts up to 18 months ! So, although it is a little pricey because it is not just a carbon or paper filter, it is much cheaper than buying bottled water.

Easy to install; took about 30 minutes. It natively fits a 3/8" valve and comes with an adapter for 1/2"The tubes are a bit long and inflexible, so getting those into a position that would work well was the most difficult part.The filtration works really well. The water has no taste now, and it's a bit weird. But that means it works

Fairly easy installation. Like the replaceable cartridge design, less plastic to throw away for those environmentally conscious. Good price, removes free chlorine according to my nose and a quick pool test. I would recommend changing often because as the filter accumulates junk, it can breed bad critters. I was looking for a water filter that didn't need a separate faucet since that would be difficult to install with our countertops. As I researched I also became aware of the NSF/ANSI 53 certification, and since we live in an area where PFAS are a concern, I also wanted a filter that carried that certification.This water filter met my criteria and was very easy to install. It just takes installing the mounting bracket and then inserting the filter into the water line. The included hardware and hoses feel very high quality. I also like that filter changes on this product replace just the inner media, so there's no throwing out a big hunk of plastic on each change as with the filter in our refrigerator.We are on a municipal water system and the supplied water drawn from wells is perfectly drinkable, but is relatively hard and has some taste issues. The filter definitely improves the taste of our water making it pretty much neutral, which I think is how water should taste. I think there might be a very slight reduction in water flow with the filter in place, although it's small enough that I'm not really sure. I liked it enough that I bought a second one for another sink.
