Griffin Survivor with Belt Clip for Samsung Galaxy SIII, pink/white - Ridiculously over-engineered? Or the perfect case no matter where you're headed?

Very good protection, now I have to worry about dropping my phone anymore. Only pro b elm is the sound seems to be muffled with the case on, and I tried taking it out and back on a few times, it helps a bit but still sound bad. I plug in the headphone and it sounds great. What can you do? I choose to keep the case on and use a headphone.

It was great for protecting my Samsung 3 but I listen to alot of music and the speakers sounded muffled while the case was on.

I own 3 of the Griffin Survivor cases for my Galaxy S3 and I wouldn't use anything else! Griffin has Otterbox beat hands down. I love the look, the feel and the protection this case gives my phone. I only wish the clip were more of a holster style clip, but a small sacrifice for the durability of this case!I also like to change my cases up a bit, I'll take the silicone from one color case and put with the plastic of another case, to give it a look that no one else has. (Purple/white, Gray/lavender or pink/lavender instead of Purple/lavender, Gray/white, & pink/white)I think the only case that may be better protection wise is the Otterbox Armor series, and lets face it, they didn't make the Armor case in very many appealing colors for the S3.So I'm a fan of the Survivor case 100%

cannot plug headphone jack into phone when using. may need to drill whole larger. standard jack does not work

This is the best protective case I could find for my Samsung Galaxy S3. Once you've wiped down the phone & screen, the case works seamlessly on the screen, every cutout fits the ports perfectly. It is a bit challenging to take off, but you wont break a sweat doing so. Ive already accidentally spilled a drink on my phone with the case, and while this case isn't water proof, i can tell if it had not been for the case, my phone would've died. The belt clip also works as a phone stand, which is nice but takes a bit of getting used to. I've dropped the phone a couple of times and have sustained no damages to the phone or case. Received it on time, and works as promised.

I love the protection this cover provides. The only drawback is how easily the clear part scratches. After the clear part is scratched, it makes it difficult to see the screen in certain light.

This cover is good, but it's a little bulky. I provides great protection, but make it somewhat awkward to use the side buttons on the phone.
