Saints in the World

This is an amazing book I'm reading it for the second time. It is on my top 10 list of most inspiring books. This author is spot-on. I have read other books by him and enjoyed them almost as much, but this is the best.

A book to be read by every catholic. So encouraging and clear.The olny thing to address is the title. The original title in Spanish is really meaningful about this book. It is something like "The Divine Value of being human".

Excellent! Anyone who is serious about living the Faith should have and read this book. When put into practice the tenets discussed will help make the world a better place. An updated "Imitation of Christ".

This is perhaps the best (or at least one of the best) books I have ever read for spiritual reading. It is so very challenging and encouraging and motivating and uplifting. It is written in a vigorous and oftentimes fiery tone, and hits home very often. But allow those points to challenge you. Take them to prayer, because chances are, the parts that are most challenging refer to those areas in our life that need the most work. The author has very moving insights into Jesus life and the application to ours, and his use of Scripture indicates his depth of prayer and holiness.

I read this book during my retreat this year at personal reflection time. This book contributed to my understanding of how God wants me to live my life. It brought me peace and tranquility. It brought me happiness that can only be attributed from the Divine hands that moved me. My suggestion is to read this book with a spirit of prayer. It might also change your life as it did mine.
