The Knitting Bible

I bought this by accident. It's cover looks very close to Vogue Knitting.I was surprised when I opened it to find I'd bought the wrong book and it's 400 patterns.I have plenty of pattern books so wouldn't have bought another but treated this like them.I numbered them and marked the ones I want with the page number on the inside front cover and when I was done I counted about 60 patterns I will use and I put a star next to 10 that are supper awesome and I really want.I would buy the book again because I found so much in it and those 10 are my new favorites.This is a great addition to my pattern books which I use to substitute in patters I like better for sweaters etc.

As a beginner knitter, this book is extremely handy to know and understand what all you can do with knit and purl stitches. It saves you hours of browsing online by showing you everything in a glance. Yet to try out the instructions for the patterns, I’m sure it will obviously match. Glad I bought it and certainly recommend it to knitters for quick reference.

I like that I have so many color options for such a great price. However, the ply separates so easily and without much "fiddling" that it's very hard to work on smaller gauge knitting needles and crochet hooks. The colors are brilliant, the variety is fantastic and the size makes it so easy to put a couple mini-skeins into a baggie so I can knit on transit to work. I'd buy this again but keeping in mind they're not suitable for projects with finer gauge stitches do to the ply unwinding.

I feel like this is the book that was missing from my knitting book collection. An essential if you need some guidance and inspiration but like to knit sans pattern.

I like this book so much. Very helpful when I am knitting and need help with a pattern that I don't know or understand how to knit something. Thank you.

THIS is a great book. Really has helped me to understand and is full of all kinds of stuff to help you.

Every stitch you could think of and more is in here!! There are even some pillow patterns in the back. Love it!
