great watch and a conversation starter. I'm a railfan and anything trains I like. The "Stop2Go" feature is fun to watch and the kids at church want to see it work and are fascinated with it. Being that I'm legally blind this watch is very easy to see with my limited vision.Easy to set and wears very well on my wrist. I like the band but I'm going to see if I can find one that will work a little better.

Like someone else showed, the wrist strap peels apart from itself. Photo shown.Also my watch battery has been dead for a couple years and now I'm trying to replace the battery. I don't know how to get the battery out. None of the YouTube videos for other watch battery replacements remotely resemble this one.After some work, it seems like the two tabs nearest each other (opposite the single tab) need to move outward to release the battery. It was not an easy thing to do. The battery is a CR2032.

Wanted the stop2go feature which sets this watch apart from the standard sweep. The watch is just the right size. Like the simple face and medium weight. Was concerned with the band, but it appears to be very good quality. Cheaper in the US than in Switzerland.

I've had this watch for two months now and am still fascinated by its movement. I find myself reaching for this one more than any other in my growing collection of 20 watches. After setting it once upon arrival, all hands still align perfectly (see the attached photo) and it has deviated a total of ten seconds.This is a handsome watch -- actually striking in its simplicity -- with excellent fit and finish. The supplied strap, while soft and comfortable, is overly plain (bordering on ugly) and just doesn't do the watch justice. It's also disappointing given the price point. I immediately replaced it with something more fitting.Overall, I could not be happier with the watch but I must admit: I was patient and got it at a great deal ($341.99!). Its value at the current price (whenever you might be reading this) is a personal decision.

First, amazon shipped me a "Mondaine Men's Swiss Railways Giant Watch A6603032811SB" in a Stop2Go box. Someone probably swapped it on a return or someone there is stealing from them. I had to return that one and order another correct one, no direct swap was offered to make it right.Now, six days past the end of the Amazon 30-day return window, this is going to some approved watch shop in Rode Island for Mondaine's warranty repair service. Not pleased. The Stop-2-Go feature is not working and the watch often fails to keep time at all. I have managed to reset the Stop-2-Go second hand back to 12 o'clock a couple of times, but it takes more steps than listed in the manual for some reason and doesn't stay working. It's supposed to return the second hand to the 12 o'clock position when setting the time, but the second hand goes to some random spot. Prior to this I had an older model that I could not keep working after a couple of repairs. I love the look of these and the stop at 12 second hand like the real train clocks, but this is likely the last Mondaine product I'll every buy. I'd prefer to return it, but 6 days is 6 days.

The watch seemed okay build quality-wise, but not really as good as I had hoped. The Stop2go feature seems like a cool idea, but the watch I received had the stop position somewhere other than 12 o’clock position. After reading the manual I realized you can fix this and move it back to the 12 position, but after wearing it for a day I noticed it lost a TON of time and actually the second hand was stopped on a location other than 12 again. I fixed the position one more time and it seemed to start working again, but later the same day it had lost more time and was stopped once again on another location. What was interesting was that the minute hand continued to advance, albeit still seeming to lose time.Maybe I got a defect, but it looks like others have issues with this watch as well, so quality control doesn’t seem up to snuff.I returned this watch and instead bought the A132.30348.11SBB Evo Big Evo Automatic Analog Display Swiss Automatic Black Watch from Amazon instead for basically the same price as this Stop2go battery powered model. I received the new automatic watch and couldn’t be happier! The quality of the automatic seems much better all around, including the strap. It also has the day/date complication and, of course, won’t ever need a battery change since it is a self-winding automatic watch.While I would have liked to have the Stop2go function like the real Swiss Railways clocks have, the lack in quality made me skip even trying to replace it with another example. Also, while you could say the Stop2go version has a sweeping second hand, it is not nearly as smooth as the automatic version I now wear.

Tried to reach them several times and no response.I do like the Mondaine watches and will continue to buy in the future.

Perfect Swiss stop2Go watches. Use them for 2 weeks, no problems so far.

Das war meine zweite Mondaine. Ich habe diese Uhr vor fast 4,5 Jahren gekauft. Ich habe die anderen Kommentare gelesen und muss meine Erfahrungen mitteilen:1. Erstens muss ich sagen nach mehr als ein Jahr hatte ich dasselbe Problem mit der Kalibrierung. Dann habe es googled und gelernt wie man es korrigieren kann und es hat geklappt.2. Dann habe ich diese Uhr gut ein Jahr nicht getragen. Aber im dritten Jahr sollte ich dann Batterie wechseln. Nach einer bestimmten Zeit trat dieses Kalibrierungproblem noch mal auf, was mit der damals erfolgreichen Methode nicht zu korrigieren war. Ich habe noch mal dieses Problem recherchiert, natürlich in google. Jemand hatte vorgeschlagen, dass es von der Batterie abhaengt: Ich habe mir selber ein Batterie von einer berühmten Marke gekauft; also dieses Mal nicht im Uhrwerk es wechseln gelassen und Batterie selber gewechselt. Und die einfache Kalibrierungmethode hat wieder geklappt! Zur Zeit funktioniert meine Uhr wie im ersten Tag.3. Bzg der Uhrband: Obwohl ich die Uhr gar nicht so oft trage war die Uhrband nach fast zwei Jahren nicht mehr zu benutzen. Aber das ist meistens der Fall.Ich würde diese Uhr im Angebot noch mal kaufen.Update: Nach mehr als 7 Jahren kann ich ja bestaetigen: Wenn auch immer die Uhr nicht mit der offiziellen Methode zu kalibrieren ist, wechsle ich die Battery mit einer Neuen und es wird erfolgreich kalibriert. Also kein wirkliches Problem mit der Kalibrierung aber man muss es wissen!

Avevo già acquistato su Amazon un Mondaine da donna per fare un regalo a mia moglie e avevo fatto un figurone. Da un po avevo messo in lista il modello icona della casa lo stop2go e sono riuscito ad acquistarlo ad un prezzo davvero incredibile inferiore ai 300 euro!!. L'orologio è davvero bello, ha il classico quadrante in stile orologio da stazione ferroviaria, è abbastanza grande e molto leggibile. L'orologio è comunque leggero e non si sente sul braccio. Il cinturino in pelle nera ha una fattura molto robusta, è bello spesso ma a me non dispiace. E veniamo al famoso movimento stop2go, è una vero piacere vedere la lancetta dei secondi, che si muove fluidamente e non a scatti, arrivare alle 12 e fermarsi appunto 2 secondi mentre scatta la lancetta dei minuti. L'unico appunto che mi sento di fare è sul sistema di regolazione dell'ora che non è molto comodo.In pratica si estrae la ghiera che ha una forma particolare e si devono dare piccole rotazioni per far muovere le lancette con una certa fluidità credo dipenda dal particolare movimento dell'orologio. Spedizione con Amazon arrivata in anticipo rispetto al previsto!

I've had this watch for a few weeks now and still get a kick from watching the stop2go action. The design and build quality is excellent. The leather strap has already started to split though but is where the wear will show.It may be a bit expensive for a Quartz but I think it's undoubtedly cool.

Me encanta el reloj, es precioso, el típico icono de los relojes de las estaciones suizas de tren, una obra de arte sí Señor, la correa es muy cómoda y a la vez gruesa muy bonita lo único que se desgasta con rapidez.
