Fits like it should. I have had Toyotas for years and have always used Toyota filters. I tried another type years ago I had a hard time getting it loose. These filters are shaped so you can use a filter remover to a rachet to make it easier to remove and install. I am not sure if it's a myth or not but they are supposed to lock the oil up to prevent dry starts. The cost to me is not that bad, if it saves your engine.

These are Toyota genuine parts. They are obviously the best parts to get if you have a Toyota, which we have two of them, the filter quality is great has a great seal. It doesn’t leak. I was surprised to see that you could buy them on Amazon very grateful.

OEM quality.
OEM oil filter I am currently using on my gen 1 tacoma and LC80 both take the same size oil filter and if you keep up with shortened intervals they should be swapped by the second or third oil change. roughly 10-15k as always oil changes are subject to the age of oil and harshness of the operation of the motor. overall this is a highly recommended product for the 5vz and 1FZ engines. dont cheap on this quality item.
