I am happy, these are better than expected. They are quite large but maybe that's for the best when you are looking for maximum protection from heat especially if you are dealing with splattering liquids, so I appreciate the extended wrist covering. I bought these primarily for cooking polenta but find that my family is using them more and more as our go-to general purpose pot holders. Wife has small hands and I didn't expect her to be able to use these comfortably but I am pleasantly surprised to see her using them all the time now.

I used this for my thanksgiving turkey and my Christmas ham. Never burnt myself, long enough, and just perfect and essential for any holiday cooking if you need to touch the food directly!
