The best one of the bunch
I bought and tried all the different door stopper animal styles. This particular one was the best - it actually holds the door open.

Nice design, but may not hold heavy doors well
The doorstop has a nice design -- almost like a small sculpture. It's not heavy at all (Probably 2-3 pounds or less), which can be both good and bad. I suspect it may have a cast iron "shell" but hollow inside, rather than solid throughout. Since it's not very heavy and the bottom has a soft covering (to avoid scratching the floor), it doesn't hold a heavy door well, compared to say, a 10 pound dumbbell...it sorta slided with the closing door over the wooden floor in my apt, rather than easily stay at one place.

It is heavy and it works
I’m not sure what the other person is saying but I think it’s very heavy and I think it’s going to be fine for the purpose of holding the door open. I have 2 black cats and I love it because it is a black cat.

It is as described. It has a good weight. I love frog prince’s so of course I had to have it.The door I have it for the frog is facing towards the wall which is unfortunate. Not a big deal.

Beautiful and perfect
I bought 2 doorstops, this one and one other cast iron one.This one is beautifully made, no rough edges, painted evenly, and even the cat's facial expression is great.While it is hollow, it's a good solid weight, plus there is a round disk on the bottom that grips to the floor so the stopper does not slide away.I would definitely buy this one again, but I have no other doors to stop where I am.I may get one as a gift for someone else though, it's that good of an item.

I'M GOING TO BUY ANOTHER!
Beautifully crafted! LOVE the design and it keeps my door open!!! Tired of holding a shoe under the door. I have huge gap between the door and the floor- this did the trick! It is heavy enough to hold the outside door open. Bravo lil man, bravo!
