SD309 Space Dryer, 800 Cubic Feet Silver

Wow this product works great. I have a built out basement with a sump pump in a back room floor so the humidity is higher than normal. This works great and best of all you just pop the used ones in the oven for 2 hours, they dry out and you re-use them. And they are nice looking. ( the label shown is just paper and drops off)

I use three in my travel trailer over the winter and they work very well. Despite our Seattle rain, the humidity in the trailer has not gone above 75% and is sometimes as low as 52%. Every 4-5 weeks in the rainy season I pick them up in the morning, dry them out in the oven, and return them to the trailer that afternoon. Quick and easy and no messy crystals/liquid.

I bought one of these to try in our garage where wet cars come in and out on a daily basis. I was using Dri-Z-Air but I was constantly changing the water and buying more crystals that I wanted to try something else. The H2Out actually works better than the Dri-Z-Air its been a great product so far. I would definitely recommend it.

The metal bound dehumidifers are absolutely great! I must have at least 12 of them in different sizes. They are permanent as you simply follow directions and heat them in the oven to renew them. Keep moisture out of your valuables. Get some of these today.

The product is working as advertised, I've had them for about a month, for how long they will work is why the rateing isn't higher. We will wait and see!

Not very effective on a boat

I bought two of the SD309 for my Winnebago thinking they were just what I needed. I read about the product in an RV magazine and was excited to try them out. Apparently, I have the only two that don't seem to work. After leaving them in my RV for a few months they weren't any heavier than when I first placed them into service. If they are absorbing moisture they should be noticeably heavier when LOADED. That doesn't seem to happen. As others have noted, it is very difficult to see what color the beads are inside the canister. i have tried to call the company several times over the last year and have never had anyone answer the phone. The last time I called a few days ago the phone number states that the voicemail box is full. I have tried several times to email a question about the product and have never received a response. As a test of the product, I oven dried both units and then placed one in a closed container with water on the bottom to see how efficient the unit was and to see if it is heavier once the water disappears. To my surprise the unit is a sealed container hasn't absorbed any water. I feel like I have dilscovered "the emperor has no clothes". Everybody raves about this product but I have discovered it doesn't work. The fact that the manufactured doesn't answer their phone or respond to email leads me to believe perhaps others have finally had similar issues.

I bought this product for use in my 23’ camper. We’ve had a very wet winter this year between snow and rain, but this product has kept the camper completely dry. Prior to this purchase we literally had condensation running down the walls, so much that we thought we had a leak. Everything is dry now.
