This not only fits great but feels good too. I have VERY sensitive skin and bought this with the hope that the other reviews saying it was scratchy were from some competitive seller. I found it perfect. It has a bit of moving room in the armpit which I like so it doesn't bind while sleeping.As a matter of fact, I am ordering a few more when I finish this review! Great price and made well enough to buy more. Here comes the color! Oh, yeah, the color is fast. We wash before wearing anything due to my sensitivities and I was glad to see it held up all around.

The photo is deep red or burgundy, but what I received was bright cherry red. Also I'm big-busted, and the way the fabric is cut REALLY accentuates that, almost comically. Finally, it is very sheer and see-through; I hope the reviewers who didn't think so aren't walking around outside in it! All that said, it's soft and comfortable. It has an odor right out of the package, but I'm assuming it will come out in the wash - if not I'll update this review.

Beautiful beautiful nightgown however, the fit is small. I take a Plus size 3x and to have this nightie fit comfortably, I should have bought it at least 1 to 2 sizes Larger. Because it is smaller than expected, when I do wear it, the neckline where the roses are is higher up on my neck than I'd really like it to be. I HIGHLY recommend this nightie but do yourself a favor and buy it 1 to 2 sizes larger, as I said above. Pretty. Especially in the red.

These colors are lovely. I originally bought this in red then went and bought 4 more colors. Lovely and feminine without being frilly and impractical. Pretty much an ideal summer night gown.Update: These hold up well despite rough machine washing. I accidentally put these in with jeans. Came out fine. My favorite nighty!

The photo indicated a Long gown but it reached only my mid calf and I am only 5 ft 1. The product had a very foul sewage smell and took 4 washings with special detergents to make it wearable. The odor emanated from the padding around the neck which held the decorative trim and was very irritating to my shoulders. I do like the designs and the overall silky feeling of the garment but would not purchase again unless correction is made to eliminate the odor and irritation. Frankly I was surprised that Amazon would offer a product with such problems.

Nice fit, great material, and just the right length. Now the rub. I ordered the Jewl Blue. What I got, while still nice, is a much lighter blue. I like it enough to keep it, but I was really looking forward to that darker blue.

Nice fabric but itchy around the neck and shoulders where the roses and lace are sewn on. I do enjoy wearing it and like the color. It is see through which is fine with me. Only complaint is the itchy area around the neck and shoulders.

I was looking forward to receiving this gown. Unfortunately it wasn't as expected. The material seemed somewhat stiff and not very soft. It is sheer enough to see through . The neckline is higher than appears in photo. This makes it feel tight across upper chest and shoulder region. On the positive side, it is the color shown. It has held up well to washing and doesn't tangle around you when trying to sleep.

this is a lovely item especially for the price. prefer real silk why wouldn't but looks gorgeous and shimmery and not too sexy unlike some of my other nighties, so could even use for hospital stay if/when need arises.Paid a lot more foranothe similar style but did not look that good or fit as well

The nightdress is pretty, but such thin material one would expect for hot weather abroad, (IN CHINA WHERE IT WAS APPARENTLY MADE ACCORDING TO LABEL- ) not the U.K. Not realistic to be worn in winter!I shall have to pass it on to charity shop-useless to an O.A.P.

Best nightdress, perfect fit. Nice feel to the skin. I love the silky feel and the design is just good. I ended up buying more than 2. I just loved this nightdress. Easy washing, dries fast, easy to care. Its a seriously feel good gown. Will buy again and again

nice old gashioned nightie but a bit too see through for modesty. Also flower trim is a bit too over-the-top big.
