Gets the job done
Does what it's intended to do, keep your feet warm. If the temps are below 40 you're still going to need some kind of shoe or toe covers, that should be obvious. The sock alone is not going to keep your feet warm in temps like that. Other wool socks work just as well, these are more stylish to keep your kit on point.

Warmer than normal socks
Seems to be warmer than normal socks but I am not sure if the warmth is enough for temperatures below 15 F.

They run big for a women's size 8 shoe
Too big. Cycling in winter socks which are warm but bunch up inside my shoes.
