I've been dealing with Plantar Fasciitis for about a year now and it's gotten really bad. Someone told me about these and I figured why not? They are really helping! I have one sitting by my chair where I watch TV. While I'm sitting there I'll just start rolling my feet over it. Up, down, back & forth, round & round. Anything that will hit all of the spots on my foot ... then switch to the other. The other ball I have at work. If my feet start bothering me I slip off my shoe and roll it under my desk. It isn't a cure (yet?) but it sure is helping! Hope this helps you too.

I discovered these because my massage therapist uses them for trigger point relief. I had to get some! I put them near my shoulder blades and my lower back and use my body weight to help with relief (lay on top of the spikey balls).

I just received these balls & have been trying to find a way to use them for muscular pain relief. These do not work. The plastic is NOT sturdy whatsoever! In fact it is so flimsy, that when the plastic is compressed, it stays compressed :(I DO NOT RWCOMMEND THESE BALLS.

These are firm (aka hard spike) massage balls useful for pressure point contact massage therapists use on your back, but you can use it against a wall or couch in addition to rolling your feet on it. I use this to manage ankle/heel pain in one leg and also on my back during stretches.

My husband loves these. He even takes on to work to keep in his desk drawer to use on his feet when he is at his desk. He loves them. I think they are a little prickly so I always have to have a sock on when I am using these on my feet.

My mom uses these for her foot pain and they have helped her stretch and massage the muscles and tendons after a bone spur.

I was looking for some soft, spiky massage balls - in the pilates class we stand on these and a soft one is hard enough on the feet. Some of the reviews mentioned that the balls received were far too soft and I thought ideal - just what I am looking for. However what arrived were 2 completely rock hard plastic balls. On re-reading the reviews I discovered that some people had already said this. So it would appear that it depends when you order these- whether you get "too soft" or rock hard. The hard ones are unsuitable for what I need but there is nothing in the description about hardness so I cannot return them. They'll be a decorative item perhaps... My thoughts are that if you have a specific type of ball in mind (either soft or hard) you can't be sure what you're getting.

I was expecting a firmer ball. Since I am used to work with tennis balls to relieve tensions and attain trigger points. But it has an overall effect of releasing the plantar fascia wich is also good and effective if you stand on it and apply a good pressure. Soft enough for beginners or people with sensitive tissues.

I bought this to go with the Roll Model book but they are not soft at all. They are hard pvc plastic. I returned them and am waiting to receive the actual yoga tune up balls that go with the Roll Model book. My Osteo did recommend these for massage though. Too hard for me.

Good product, but I wish the knobs were thicker.
