Natural Choice Grain Free Adult Cat Salmon And Potato Formula - 14 Lbs. (6.35 Kg)

This cat food has been a wonderful change of pace for my cat, as well as our two kitties at work. They all love the flavor of the Natural Choice varieties (both Duck and Salmon flavors), and the ingredients list is top-notch as one would hope with any grain-free variety. I notice the two work kitties are looking particularly better after a few weeks of this cat food, in terms of coat shine and build, but then again it is the time of season where they are bulking up a bit for winter.I will say this, when a dry cat food smells like what you'd expect out of wet cat food, you can probably assume it's going to be a hit with cats. Not my cup of tea, but for a cat, I imagine this food smells WAY more appetizing than corn gluten meal as a first ingredient!

I have tried different flavors within NUTRO and I've tried different brands, but this one works the best. Each cat I've gotten was previously fed Blue Buffalo. Once I switched them to Nutro, their coat was noticeable softer (like a different cat entirely).I switched to different grain-free brands and even non grain free, but still premium ones, to see which one works the best for my cats. I feel silly that I went straight back to this one, but it's the best. My cats take a deuce every 24 hours on this and they have noticeable more energy on this food than others. Each time I've switched them back to this brand, they weed through their old food and prefer to eat this one! They love it like crazy and they are healthy and hold a healthy weight as well. They gained weight on other grain-free brands!

While I think this is a little pricey, I really think it has made a difference in my siamese cats coats, they seem much softer, even though I was feeding them iams with some flax seed oil mixed in before. Cats are originally pure carnivores, so I think processed grain is a terrible thing for them to eat. My one cat puked for like a day when I switched them, but I did a crappy job of transitioning them. They are both fine now.

My cats love it! It has helped them quit throwing up all the time, which is why I went grain free to begin with. 4 stars because it contains just as many carbs as the cheap food (too many carbs being what supposedly gives cats digestive issues to begin with.) I fed my boys Nutro kitten food when they were little so I trust the brand.

A little research online convinced me it might be time to try grain-free food for my cats, just like I learned to do for my dog. I have a chubby cat who is always starving, a finky one, and one who'll eat just about anything. This works great for all three of them. They eat less and the chubby one's losing weight, there's less to clean from the litter box, and their coats seem a little healthier and less dry. I tried a couple of other brands, and this one works best for my cats. So I'm a repeat purchaser.

One of my cats put on an enormous amount of weight during the time they were eating this food. I buy larger bags and must use all of them because I'm on a limited income-I can't afford to just throw food away. But my cat gained more weight on this than any other food for some reason. He was fed the same amount, heck-when he was younger, his favorite food was friskie's surf n' turf, which has terrible ingredients and is awful for cats. This is the only food that has had a significant impact on his weight and health. The other cat, who has a sensitive tummy, I have not been able to find a suitable food for him anywhere, but this was, at best, no improvement.

Great grain free choice, but too expensive. When I first purchased it, it was about $7 cheaper than it is on the site now. Unfortunately, with five cats, I go through a lot of food, so I've had to look for a more budget-friendly product.

My cat started having trouble digesting her old cat food so the vet recommended we go grain free and to alternative protein. Not sure if that was really the issue, but the cat has had no problems with this cat food and she always gobbles it all up. We even use this as cat treats rather than buying separate special treats and she loves it. It's pricier, but worth it for her good health.
