These seeds are very hit and miss - my third bag.
I have purchased three bags over the past six months now. While I do not care if they come out perfectly, I do care if they are fully able to sprout. I buy these for the sole purpose of getting the super beneficial health benefits of sulforaphane, which is loaded in broccoli sprouts. However, the last bag I have purchased will not sprout and for twenty five bucks a bag, this is very disappointing. My first two bags sprouted pretty well and I would say about 70% of the seeds sprouted, which is about expected. My current bag has not had nearly as much luck. I would guess more like 20% and the seeds that have sprouted, have barely sprouted - meaning about 1/3 of the length. I have tried soaking them longer, using room temperature water, as well as doing exactly what I was doing with the past two bags (soak for 12 hours in filtered water, rinse/drain/flip upside down with a drainage top and put in cupboard, rinse every 12 hours for 4-6 days, etc.). After much experimentation, these simply wont sprout. I have contacted the seller in the past and I was told that the seeds come from different sources and it appears as if she didn't know what bags may have seeds from supplier versus another supplier (she has either two or three suppliers). She mentioned that one supplier has spicier tasting seeds than the other. In any case, pretty upset that I wasted a lot of time and twenty five bucks on a bag of seeds. I would recommend buying from a supplier that has more consistent seed quality and from the same source.

Use a Jar to Grow Broccoli Sprouts
I saw a lot of comments about these seeds not sprouting, and I had a similar experience...at first! The first two times I tried to sprout these seeds, I used a tray-style sprouter, and I had terrible results (very few sprouts and lots of smelly unsprouted seeds). I also tried a different brand of seeds in said sprouter, again with terrible results. This time, I put three tablespoons in quart canning jar and did the jar-sprouting method. There were so many sprouts that they were busting out of the jar. Very good results! So I have come to the conclusion that in general, broccoli sprouts grow better in jars than in trays. I think storing the jar upside-down, so the water can fully drain out, is part of the key to success with the jar method--so the seeds/sprouts are not soaking in water, but be sure to water them 3x a day so they don't completely dry out.

These seeds sprout really well
I bought these organic seeds for my first attempt at sprouting. Broccoli sprouts are, among all the very healthy sprouts one can grow or consume, considered to be one of the very healthiest.I am happy to report tat these seeds sprouted very, very well.I purchased 1-quart mason jars, removed the lids, and washed them thoroughly. I then added 2 tablespoons of these seeds, covered them well with purified water, and covered the mouth of the jar with cheesecloth held in place with a strong rubber band. After 8 hours I drained the seeds. To make extra sure there would be no standing water, which can cause the seeds to rot, I kept the jar upside down in a bowl, but tilted slightly, leaning against the wall on my kitchen counter at a 45-degree angle, until no more water would drain out. Then I set them right-side-up.Twice a day, as detailed in the instructions that come with these seeds (on the package itself) , I rinsed the seeds and used the same procedure as above to remove from the jar all the excess water that might rot the seeds.Within four days I had terrific, delicious sprouts. When they are grown out enough to suit you, you can store them in the refrigerator, but you should eat them within 2 days or they can begin to rot.By the way, I tried using 1 tablespoon, 2 tablespoons, and 4 tablespoons of seeds in several different attempts. The latter ended up overfilling the 1-quart jar with sprouts, and the 1 tablespoon was too little, so from now on I'm sticking to 2 tablespoons, which is just right.

THEY DON'T SPROUT.
THEY DON'T SPROUT. If the seller sends me some that do, I will edit this rating as I can see there are always bad batches, but these things are barely alive. So, if you are seeking the beneficial enzymes in the seeds (to make SGS), you can be assured, if they don't sprout, the enzymes are degraded and therefore eating them is basically USELESS! Waste of money!

Looked all over and these are great. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence.
Tastes great and easy to grow in small spaces and don't require full sun. Full grow in about five days, which is faster than other seeds I've used. Posted pics to show what I used to grow and the final results. The grower is used is a Burpee Seed Spouter that's I've used for years and followed the directions on the box with a minor adjustment before putting in a container. I soak seeds overnight using lukewarm water, u can soak longer. I put the trays in a steel mesh colander to dry out a bit. I’ve not had a problem with any seeds not sprouting, maybe people are thinking hulls are unsprouted seeds. The last pic are sprouts grow from the sprouting jar by sprout people.Cheers to your health!!
