Useful to increase my emergency water storage. But if you want to store them in the provided boxes and close the lids, you can't fill the bladder to capacity. Therefore, likely you are storing slightly less than 5 gallons. In addition, the shape of the filled bladder does not match the square box, making for a tight fit.As at least one other reviewer said, it's a hassle to fill them if you plan to use the cardboard boxes, which does not play well with water. Unlike a rigid container, you must deal with a flexible container that gets heavier as you fill it, max weight 35 pounds. You must hold up the spout, thus some of the weight of bag, or the water will spill out. Suffice it to say you should keep a towel handy.My order contained 12 boxes of 5 gallons each. The vendor provided one purifier kit that treated 30 gallons. See the problem here?You get what you pay for. If I spent a lot more money for rigid containers, I could have filled them easily. I bought these for much less $ and put in some effort. OK.

Bought 2 orders of the 60 gal boxes last June and this morning I discovered that one of the boxes is leaking at the bottom.They are designed to last for at least 5 years but it lasts for only about 6 months ??? Very upset and feel that I might have wasted my time and money on these. Now I have to worry about water leakage and need to check them up all the time to make sure they are not ruining my carpet and floor ! I only stacked 2 of them up to save space. I didn't even fill them up 100%. I just filled them up about 70-80% because I am afraid that they may not hold well if fully filled. To save from future trouble,look for something else as these are bought for peace of mind in case of any unexpected emergency. Why would someone buy them now so as to start the worrying shortly after? I will replace them gradually if they can last for a few more months so that I can free myself from this unneeded constant worrying and checking.

Update: Legacy immediately sent me the missing parts that I requested. I appreciate their good customer service. I wish the original package had all the parts that were advertised.---I received 12 boxes, but only 11 bladders, and only enough treatment chemicals to treat 50 gallons of water (instead of the 60 advertised). I just contacted Legacy Premium Food Storage to see if they will send me another bladder and enough chemicals to treat the 10 additional gallons of water.The product has been easy to use and fits nicely on a shelf in my garage. I will change my rating and give it five stars if I receive all of the product that I ordered. I intend to update this review based on Legacy's response.

I liked the versatility of these boxes. The one downside is that if you fill them beyond a certain point they may start leaking.

We filled six of the twelve units. Five are leaking and apparently we cannot return these items and there is not a link to contact the seller. Purchased on April 10th. Not good.

Works perfectly. Recommend this to anyone trying to get prepared for any emergency.
