I randomly decided to make a slip cover for an ugly old floral couch and want to making piping for the seat cushion covers. I didn't even know that a piping foot was a thing, but after I ordered the piping cord (3/16"), this popped up as a recommendation, so I ordered one and boy am I glad I did. It made making piping SO easy. It easily popped on my machine and made the piping almost foolproof even for a beginner! This was way cheaper than the one I was looking at on JoAnns too.

Can tell by holding/touching it that it is made cheaply. Does it's job well anyways. Makes cushions super speedy.Took 1 star off cause of the spacing for the cording is different on right and left, so to have enough room had to run cushion through backwards (all the fabric is on right side of needle and runs through sewing machine hole vs leftside which is open)

I bought this pipping foot to sew slipcovers for my armchair. I have not started my project yet but practiced sewing cording to strips of fabric and I was pleased by the results. when I first got my pipping foot I was skeptical It would work (the part were the pipping would go looked a bit small) but it worked just fine with my 3/16 cording (I don’t think it would work with any thing much larger). The presser foot fit perfectly with my brother sewing machine. I have not tried any other pipping foots so I do not know if it is better or worse than the others on the market. I think this will do nicely to sew all the pipping I need. I will give a update when I finished my slipcover

I took a chance on this presser foot because the price was cheap. The one for my Brother machind was five times the price. I'm SO glad I took the chance. It works great and easily applied the piping neatly. First I went on youtube to see how to use it. You also have to have your needle in the proper position. Anytime I can purchase a tool to make sewing easier I'm all for it. Fast shipping too.
