I think it works great. Bought another 1st but returned it. This one was easy to attach has longer handle and gets good leverage. Everyone is different but for me works great.

I was worried this replacement handle wouldn't fit my chair, which has a square operating rod, but this handle has a star-shaped insert. But it fits and it works, with a few caveats.Number one - I hope you own a wide variety of hex wrenches, because this handle does not include one. It was off to the hardware store for me, replacement set screw in hand. I found the right size wrench for the set screw and hoped it would fit the existing screw inside the broken handle.Turns out it did, but man - those things are screwed in tight. Once the old handle was off and discarded, I jammed the new handle in place and attempted to tighten the new set screw. This turned out to be a challenge worthy of IKEA furniture. The only way I could manage it was by getting the set screw started BEFORE attaching the handle to the chair rod, and only then torquing it as best I could.It's rather finicky and tricky to get in place, but once it's on, it's on for good. Just don't lose that hex wrench. I plan to put mine in a sandwich bag and staple it to the underside of the chair. Just in case.

Easy to install. Seems to be really sturdy and good quality. Chair with broken handle has been restored to use. First time I’ve ever had a handle break on a La-Z-Boy recliner, but this one works well and was easy to install.

Replacement handle fit perfectly, looks good, and functions very well. Good value too!

The handle itself fit perfectly. It seemed to be of good quality, but the "set screw" was a hex bolt instead of a typical hex screw. The "screw" provided was too short by approx 1/2 inch to fit in the hole for the lever and hold the lever in place. If you have the original fastener/retainer, use it. All will be fine then. Retainer received was NOT as pictured.
