Sea Salt Almond

I purchased two Taza Dark Chocolate bars, one was the Sea Salt & Almond, and the other was the Toffee flavored bar. The Sea Salt & Almond squares did taste a bit chalky, as some reviewers have stated. When I shaved the dark chocolate and used it as a topping for my cashew ice cream, it really made the dessert come to life! I'd recommend using the Sea Salt & Almond chocolate to enhance desserts or trail mix. The Toffee flavored bars have a smooth consistency and excellent flavor. I enjoyed breaking off squares of this bar to have as a treat by itself or enjoy with a cup of tea.

Don’t bother or waste your money! The Sea Salt & Almonds- are nano particles of chopped almonds, no actual good almonds in it! Tastes old! The Toffee came 1/2 opened after the 2nd one I ordered, it was crumbly and dry- obvious clear sign as to how stale it is. They must’ve Re-packed? Discussing. Zero quality. This ruined my valentines treat! I am calling Amazon for a full refund- even though the company states not refundable (gee, wonder why?) —Amazon will take care of me.

Just the right amount of intense chocolate flavor with a touch of sweetness and crunch. I think this is my new favorite chocolate bar. All that and organic too. A bit pricey but worth it for a small treat.

This chocolate was edible. It was barely, "ok", not great especially for the price. Yes it was vegan but did not satisfy. It is better to buy cacao powder and make chocolate yourself with vegan milk than to purchase this. Pay attention to the oz. I thought I was getting a BOX but only got a single bar. This chocolate was edible, the flavor very very rich and bold and tasted similar to what I would imagine dirt would taste like. It also gave me a headache. I am vegan but I did not enjoy this vegan chocolate, sorry.

I have tried Taza Chocolates before. They are the best for dark chocolate lovers. I just was not expecting this to be so overly too bitter for my standards and did not like the taste. I prefer my Dark Chocolate on the bittersweet side, So from most of the reviews, that is what I was expecting. So for those who are not so savvy like myself. This is for those who like their chocolate, ONLY chocolate and I must warn you in it's natural state is bitter. There is barely any sugar in this bar so when they write and describe that this is 95% percent chocolate, they mean it!! there is just 5% percent sugar, and you hardly taste the sweetness. So if you like the straight up bitter of taste of Dark Choclate, then you will thoroughly enjoy Taza's Wicked Dark. I on the other hand did not like the Wicked Dark at all,, but I highly recommend the Taza single origin Bolivian Dark Chocolate which is 87% and heavenly. Not too bitter, not too sweet, with the natural grittiness of chocolate and sugar, To myself, that is what I find enjoyable.

This chocolate tastes terrible! I love dark chocolate, so it's not a taste-preference issue. There could have been an issue with the bars I received. They were discolored and had a sandy texture, like something had gone bad or something. I have no idea, but it was terrible and I will be throwing both bars away. Unfortunately, it is non-returnable and no refunds will be issued even without returning the product, so this was a total waste of money and time. Please don't buy this!
