Works OK
Bought for two reasons, (1) to mark household goods should they ever be stolen, (2) Mark some things I sell on Ebay to prevent someone returning a faulty item that wasn't the one I sent. Easy to use, it takes a moment or two to dry.It can be rubbed off and in certain conditions, or certain materials and certain colours can be just about seen, therefore best to mark your items with this in mind.It shows up well with the UV lamp, I doubt I would ever use the flashlamp part though, I can't see any point in the stickers.Seeing as how infrequently you may use the lamp, don't forget to remove the batteries. :-)

Handy UV pen and light
Really good itemLThe penIt's good, plenty of ink, not a fine fine point, so if you write on paper the writing will expand,a little.It shows what you're writing (on paper), than as it start to dry up, it eventually becomes invisible.(after a few mins)I've written on wood, and it's invisible from the start.UV lightThis works fine, it's purple colour, you place it close over the writing and the writing appears. best in dark rooms, you see the writing glow.It has a built in torch, this is very low light, and really pointless.OverallI'm happy with the purchase, it does what it says. i'm still in the process of marking and writing notes, it's a handy item I've added to my gadget and tools collection, so far so good.

Excellent Product
This product is epic, being able to mark you belongings with a special code of your own making is a great deal.These pens DO NOT erase easily at all which is a positive and even on black backgrounds you can't see it and the UV light show it up nicely, It works better on white backgrounds but it work all the same.A must buy if you want to protect your valuables in more than one way.

Works fine with a bit of practice
This order arrived promptly and was what I was expecting. A little bit of practice and you can get your postcode to disappear from your item and only show up under uv light. However, until you get the knack of doing it you will be left with your postcode quite visible. You need to just get the pressure of the pen right, then dab away the excess fluid with a tissue and finally when it's dry rub it with your finger if it still shows ( if you do this while it is still wt it will smudge). The degree of success seems to depend on the surface you are writing on; on some surfaces I have been unable to make the writing completely vanish.

DOES ITS JOB AND WORKS PERFECTLY
Bought at full price, I do not give praise easily but place honest straight forward honest reviews with good, the bad and the ugly as applicable.Bought because my disabled sister is the victim of thieves stealing from her. The pens in this set are the best of many that I bought. A variety of different pens from a variety of differing sources. The UV light is excellent. This set does everything it is supposed to. The purchase price represents very good value. It was delivered very quickly

Effective and easy to use.
Easy to use. On some surfaces the marking is visible even without the infrared lamp. I don't see the point of the stickers. I thought the whole idea of the marking pen is to make it invisible. So why would you put the stickers on to say it has been marked?

Good security device.
This kit has worked well, i have marked all our large electrical items and put stickers on, i have also put a sticker in the corner of my window.The light is great for checking where you have marked and making sure that the writing is clear.

University Life Tested and Approved
Literally my favourite thing right now - marked up everything, and when you live in a university house where everyone will claim anything as their own especially if you double up with them, this is a pretty interesting and clever way to claim back what belongs to you. Not to mention, no matter how crazy this sounds, it functions are a super clever UV paint that no one sees until you are lit up in the middle of the dance floor. Here's to outsmarting the students at University!
