Top notch quality
Well worth the investment, prior to purchasing an artisan pad I was buying a new mouse pad every 3-4 months due to most of my previous pads like G640 cloth pad and QcK quick pad. I've purchased this pad and also the Artisan Zero. I used the Artisan Zero for 10 months and it's still looks like I just bought it. The reason I got this was to try out the difference between the Zero and Hien. This Hien is definitely a bit faster and has a different texture than the Zero. After 3 months with this pad I'd definitely recommend it as you won't really have to buy another pad again.

Great pad
I’ve purchased this mousepad back in oct 2023. Definitely the best pad I’ve owned. It’s sooo smooth/buttery feel. I use a final mouse (ACEU edition) I will admit it does get “dirty” pretty easily. But that’s not a big deal. It takes a bit to get used to the pad bcs of how smooth it is. But once you do; those flicks be NASTY. IMO I think it’s better than a glass pad. Will be purchasing again

Artisan Hien XL: Premium Mouse Pad
Pros: Fantastic rough texture gives blazing speed without losing control. Flawless Japanese build quality. Perfect for esports & any use.Cons: Pricey. Rough feel isn't for everyone, Although it wasn't a problem for me.Verdict: A premium pad where glide meets precision. Highly recommended.

I think a tad overhyped but still outstanding quality
After many many years of playing on a Qck+, I "upgraded" to a HyperX Fury S because of the size and I used it for a bout 7 months or so, before it started to wear down and I felt like I needed a new mousepad. Artisan was very hyped for its quality and performance, but since I didn't wanna wait 2-3weeks for shipping, I decided to order from here and I can tell you that the mousepads are 100% authentic!! It took 2 days to come, but you do have to pay the premium for the faster delivery time, it's up to you if you wanna pay a bit more to get it sooner. The packaging was really nice and secure, definitely no damage to the pad whatsoever and it's Winter here in Chicago. Straight out of the box, the material felt really sandpaper-ish and scratchy, but I got used to everything in about 3 days. It's not as bad as people say! Also the mousepad breaks-in in about the same, around 3 days for me.I got a Hien Soft (not XSoft, that's even softer) XL in Wine Red. A truly beautiful mousepad. It is definitely faster than any cloth mousepad out there, but it does break down and slow overtime. I do enjoy the glide (I have a GPW with Corepadz) but the drawback is that it feels way too fast sometimes, it really takes getting used to. Overshooting was a problem the first couple of days, but with adjustment to sensitivity and DPI, you'll feel right at home. The Hien has INCREDIBLE stopping power for how fast it is, honestly.I'm pretty happy with my purchase, but I do feel like I'm going to go with a Zero Soft/Xsoft, just to see what the difference is.Don't be scared of the price tag, Artisan pads hold really good value.

It's a bit weird to pay 110+ bucks for that mousepad, but i can't say that it was a bad idea.
The meaning of headline is like that: it has literally no flaws expect the fact it can't make coffee but 110 bucks is a bit high price for that and in the same time i have no regrets in buying it.The first time i got it i thought "wow i can feel this quality after a single touch and it's above any other mousepads in the world". Stiching here is the best because of sticker feature and it ignores some dekstop's surface bumps. Overclock is lower than surface + dense weaving ... all that you could see in video reviews, yeah, you don't notice mousepad's edge. The glide. Glide here is kinda unique. First 3-6 days this glide felt uncontrolable, fast and that pretty noticeable XY difference, uh, you need some time to get used to it. In that period i tried hien in kovaaks, so... that "first-weak glide" really helps you to comprehead how to properly stop your mouse (if you use much slower mousepads before where stopping power is like in 4-years old qck+). So even with that features hien's glide felt pretty effective in kovaaks and games. Horizontal huge speed allows you make pretty fast switching and that vertical control-power fixed my vertical overflicks (because i played a lot afps, vertical mechanics are not strong side). In 2 weeks that glide became a bit more controlable and so smooth(not slower i think, it's not time for that). I've never imagined that this rough texture could be so smooth. I still like my previous ac+ white glide with and i think that's one of the best glide feelings (with tiger ice feet) .. also hien feels more interesting and smoother and now this is my new favorite mousepad.About texture feeling and skin: hien could feel like sandpaper when you touch it, but you don't feel a sandpaper when you play. I experienced jacquard mousepad (my option was rougher than custommade's one) and no, hien isn't like that, don't worry. That words about texture feeling only for first 1 or prb 3 days because after you will forget that.I can't talk about it's durability because i'm using hien only 2+ weeks, it feels "tanky" and on top of that i've never seen someone complaining about that.*Somekind of rofl: I hate artisan for the fact that it would be hard for me to use other brend's mousepads. It's the pad that could change your preferences forever and artisan's pads are worth to try if you will catch the good price.
