Spigen Rugged Armor Pro Compatible with Apple Watch Case with Band Series 9/8/7 (45mm) and Series 6/SE/5/4 (44mm) - Black

I purchased this strap in July 2022 having used Spigen cases on various mobile phones and was always impressed with their protection but also their slim line profiles. The watch strap and case was no different. Great protection, slim line, not bulky, and in a nice green colour. I have used other straps in the past and while their appearance and protection were excellent, I found them a little bulky under a long sleeved shirt at work. The Spigen was a great solution to this. Rugged appearance but a slimmer profile than competitors I have used - just a personal preference. It was easy to fit the watch ‘pebble’ to the case. There is enough flex in the case to do this with ease. My watch was never damaged while using this case. I applied a screen protector separately and this fit well in the case with no issue. Other than that, in daily use, for outdoor and indoor sports and general wear, it has lasted 26 months which, for the money, I think is exceptional. The strap has not discoloured or picked up any odours from exercise which other have (colour bleaching, picking up dye from clothes). It’s easy to clean and I would be happy to recommend this to an Apple Watch user as a great option for general every day wear, for outdoor pursuits, or just to change things up from standard strap if that’s your thing. I bought this strap after my own research and this is an independent review.

Great strap! Only used it for two days so will update my review if anything happens. The fit is perfect for my series 5, the watch pops right in and all the holes line up perfectly. The strap feels sturdy and secure, there were other reviews with concerns about the buckle but mine looks absolutely solid and doesn’t give me any worries after giving it a bit of a twist around to test it. The main thing that struck me was how well the strap matches up with the quality of the watch itself. I’m a bit of a stickler for that kind of thing and any crappy looking plastic would put me right off but this strap really does fit and actually make the watch on par with how a GShock or similar looks. Nice and chunky but not massive. The strap looks nice and has little touches like carbon fibre effects on it and it feels smooth on the wrist with no pinch. Finally, my other concern was the watch getting scratched up by the case itself, well, because the material is hard plastic it doesn’t shift around or move about like something soft would do so I have no concerns there and have been checking it regularly for anything amiss. Finally the packaging is surprisingly nice too, a little cube box that looks quality and has instructions on the side and no “engrish”! 10/10 from me so far, go for it!

I purchased this strap for the second time to replace the previous which had become damaged. I work in extremely harsh conditions with extreme heat and I was really impressed with how the strap held up, hence the reason I bought it again. The strap isn’t as soft or comfortable as the original Apple Watch strap but I have experienced the original strap fail at work so this is presumably due to the rugged nature of this strap. Overall I’m happy with the price, looks, quality and durability of the strap.

Solid case - Good quality. Comfortable to wear, looks sleek and has a nice snug fit around the watch. It’s easy to clean and does exactly what I bought it for - has saved my watch from many chips, scatches and impacts and is a nice weight, light enough that it doesn’t draw attention to itself while still being soild enough to do its job. Almost 1 year down the road and it’s still in great condition despite being abused daily. Buttons and crown remain easy to access, which is more than can be said for many similar cases…

I have been using this since last year. It was brought from Canada at that time, and it’s not available here. I would say it’s a nice and comfortable item.then after that i brought this for the another colour.

The watch strap was very comfortable, and it did an excellent job of protecting my watch from any damage—until the case itself broke. It lasted around five months before the case unexpectedly snapped, causing the watch to fall out. Fortunately, this happened while I was in my car, so there was no damage to the watch, and I didn’t lose it. While I appreciate the comfort and initial durability, I would have expected the case to last much longer than it did. It’s a shame, as it started off strong, but the lack of longevity is a significant drawback. If you're considering this strap, be mindful of the potential for wear and tear over time.

I bought this off the back off having a Spigen phone case and it being brilliant! I like how this covers the sides of the watch to protect it fully (when used in conjunction with a screen protector.) The buttons are still easily accessible when fitted. I would be easy to install and remove the watch face but I use a thick, tempered glass screen protector that isn’t really designed to be used with this kind of strap/cover. It was a bit of a faff to fit this case over it without making the protector lift off and bubble but my husband managed it in the end! It’s worth it to keep the watch wholly protected. I’ve had it for a few months and wear it nearly constantly; I’m active and outdoorsy and it’s proving durable and easy to clean. It’s scratch resistance and doesn’t have a mark on it. It’s a good fit and comfortable to wear, even at night and I haven’t had any discomfort. My husband’s Garmin straps have irritated his skin but I’ve had zero problems with this on that front and I have it on the vast majority of the time. This ticks all the boxes for what I need it for and is lovely to wear.

Good quality looks good and most importantly protects my watch

This is the best band and case combo that I could have hoped for. First off, this little sucker is TOUGH. I work in an industrial environment, and this beauty has held up much more than I expected. The only downside is that the design allows the device to move around just enough to let small particles to fall in, leaving my watch to end up with some small chips in the finish, but nothing that effects use. It’s very comfortable, has a great look, and overall is just probably the best accessory that you could get for your Apple Watch. If you’re a fan of the G-Shock styling, you’ll dig this unibody band/case combo. Be careful if you use a screen protector though. The tolerances on the case are tight enough that it might cause peeling up of the edges. I personally had issues with the IQ Shield protectors. Might work if you used products suited for the 40mm watch. Pros: - Wide range of fitment. Be wary if you have smaller wrists. - Great style (Love the Military Green) - Protects device from shock - Pretty easy to install Cons: - Just enough device movement to allow small particles (metal chips/abrasive material) to fall in. - Could do without the simulated carbon fiber accents on the outside of the band (Just don’t like the look, but YMMV. - Doesn’t work that well with TPU screen protectors for the 44mm watch. Had bad peeling at the edges even with IQ Shield protectors. Overall, I think that if you need a simple yet tough case/band for your Apple Watch, you can’t really go wrong. I can’t see myself changing to a regular band. If you like the G-Shock design and durability, order this ASAP.
