These were great! They were obviously from the fresh crop this year. We have used them for cooking and snacking and enjoyed the flavor. They were cleaned well without residual bits of shell linings. They were consistent in size with minimal breakage, It was a good value purchase for the money.

Very fresh and plump. These were not dried out but tender and flavorful .

I have used a different bulk supplier of pecan halves for years but this year their shipping was weeks and I didn’t have time to waste. So I cancelled that order and bought these and I am super happy. These are fresher tasting and have flavor like you just shelled them. I found a new pecan supplier. Thank you!

I am a Southern woman who knows when a pecan is good or bad...these were bad. This is my first time to order pecans thru Amazon. I usually order Texas pecans thru a company in Texas, but to save $$$ I didn't this time. I have to say I didn’t expect this. These pecans were not fresh, 2018-2019 as stated. They arrived shrink wrapped, were darker in color than fresh pecans, and dry...they had no oily feel or taste. If these are truly 2018-2019 pecans then I feel the wrapping and storage caused drying. I am sad because because at the same time I ordered mine, I also placed an order for my sister in North Carolina. She too knows a good pecan. We both have repacked them for freezing and will not attempt return. Hopefully roasting or using in baking will bring out some familiar taste. Using them for salads or munching (which we both do) is not appetizing.

These are good pecans, but not great pecans. The vacuum seal does preserve freshness. They are fine for baking, but disappointing for a raw snack or for roasting. They are smaller than I expected and inconsistent in size. I’m accustomed to consistently large, plump pecans that really deliver on flavor, which are sold by a retailer in Alabama; however those pecans do cost significantly more. I think I’ll opt for quality over cost from now on.

High quality pecans. They are always fresh espeically compared to the Large Box Store pecans which I often find to me stale and soft. Delivery is reliable and on-time. I highly recommend.

Good tasting pecans. This is my second order:Pros: Good taste. Arrived vacuum sealed in a plastic bag and housed in a box. I measured bag upon arrival today and it measured exactly 5 lbs in vacuum sealed bag. You get the pecans in bulk all in one shot instead of having to go to the store and get them 1 lb at a time. Just one less thing on the shopping list to have to contend with. Arrived delivery free from Amazon so didn't have to drive to the store for just pecans.Cons: They aren't all 100% half peacans. There are a lot of halfs that appear to have been broken into smaller pieces. I'd say 25% of the contents are pieces and not halfs. So if you are particular about pieces versus 100% halfs, then consider that. Product is a bit pricey too but unit price is more or less competative with store bought items at 1 lb basis. I'm just thinking that if you are buying bulk, there ought to be a significant price savings. Just saying.Gave this product an overall rate of average on pros and cons noted above. I'll probably continue to purchase this item into the future.
