Porcelain Mini Daruma Doll, 2 inches tall

My daughter had been begging for a daruma for some reason. This cute little figure did the trick. She is very happy.

I have been giving these out for years now. Good quality at a decent price. I will continue to do so until something better comes along!

I bought myself several of these as gifts for the new year. So far I have bought 6 in total because these little daruma dolls really do make you remember of your active goal. I finished my wish/dream easily within two months so I bought myself more.These are well crafted, small but well done.

I like better the paper darumas but this is the size I wanted. Quality is good, the price is fair. I bough 2, the person I gave the other one as a present is very happy with it too.

Yes they are hollow, but they are well made, and made in Japan not China, which in this case is important. Gaudy appearance aside, they are a part of Japanese culture, and they make great gifts. I just wish I could find them locally as they cost more to ship than buy, but whenever I give them, the people seem to like the concept. That is, one makes a wish or sets a goal and colors in one eye with a black marker, when the wish comes true or the goal is reached, color the other eye.

For the price, it's a good deal. Small, and not much detail. But well made and authentic. I prefer these small sized darumas as opposed to the larger ones.

Lovely little daruma to celebrate a Shinto New Year's tradition with. Paper darumas are more traditional, but he gets the job done. Very cute!

I was so happy when I got my Daruma Doll. I have painted in the one eye when I set my goal. I see it each day at my desk to remind me to work hard for my goal. I can't wait to paint in the other eye! Great product, beautifully made, very inspiring. Thank you!
