Gorgeous but cost effective
I wanted a rain gauge but hated the colorful plastic ones at the hardware store that seem so popular. Of course places like Anthropologie and Pottery Barn had gorgeous ones, but I couldn’t justify spending $60+ on a rain gauge. This one is super pretty but affordable. Stuck it in the ground and let it do its thing. So far no rain, so unsure about durability and functionality, but it seems to be good quality. I did accidentally drop the glass part (it comes separate from the base) when I slipped on our hardwood floors and no cracks or breakage occurred, so seems durable!

Easy to read
Easy to read from a ways away.

This is plastic so will not shatter in the garden. However, it will crack if full and freezes, as I found out. So best put in away for the colder months. It also will fade in the sun. But easy to read from across the yard, reasonably accurate and moveable.

Excellent PRODUCT !!!
i HAVE HAD ONE OF THESE FOR YEARS AND HAD TO REPLACE IT THIS YEAR BECAUSE OF AGE AND IT GOT CRACKED. I DO LIKE THIS BRAND AND IT IS SO EASY TO INSTALL AND TO SEE.

Very Simple, Easy to Read, Larger Than Expected
Gotta love simple and easy. Mounted on a post (we used two screws, not included). Bigger than expected, but that's a good thing. The yellow background and large markings makes it easy to read, even from a vehicle. The post is close to the driveway. No problem removing the meter from the post just lift off and dump (leave the screws sticking out enough). Sturdy.

Not as advertised
Not at all like it was described. This item had over 6 hours exposed to the light. Went to see the glowing numbers after about 30 minutes of being dark. Nope no glow. Very disappointed in a fake advertisement of product. It is a novel idea for that feature especially during evening storms. Was leery about the brand and usually buy accurite. Should have paid a little more for a trusted name. I am also seeing many of the reviews are not about the glow in dark item and mention glass. This is 100% plastic. Bummer for this company as I do not recommend it. One thing to s very large numbers and we will see how they fair through weather.

PERFECT FOR MY DAD WHO IS 90 . HE CAN SIT INSIDE AND STILL TELL HOW MUCH RAIN WE GOT.
